Nova Poshta across Ukraine, 1–3 working days

The first vintage of the COVID years. A time when humanity awoke in a new world. When we all tried to understand whether it was the end of the globalization era or its reboot on a new level. When we acutely felt both belonging to the collective and separation at the same time. When we rediscovered the meaning of the analog world: the warmth of a handshake, the taste of wine shared with a friend.

A wine from an unconventional season, crafted from grapes of an ecological vineyard. A harmonious blend of three powerful varieties from different countries: Cabernet Sauvignon, Saperavi, and Fetească Neagră.

The powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, born in Bordeaux but cultivated worldwide. The Georgian autochthonous Saperavi—one of the oldest varieties, which has survived more than one global catastrophe. The historic Moldovan variety Fetească Neagră, which, after a period of undeserved neglect, is now experiencing its Renaissance.

As a result of a prolonged drought, a green harvest was carried out and yields were reduced to 4 tons per hectare. This small harvest gave exceptional concentration of aromas, taste, and complexity.

The grapes of each variety, after a 4-day cold maceration, were fermented separately in neutral vessels and aged in Caucasian oak for 18 months.

The result is a beautifully balanced full-bodied wine with a rich bouquet of black and red berries, a velvety texture from ripe tannins, and a long finish with notes of spices, coffee, and dark chocolate.

The color is deep ruby with a garnet hue.

The aroma of blackcurrant, ripe red cherry, and wild blackberry is complemented by notes of white pepper, clove, and black vanilla.

The wine is complex and multi-layered. Refreshing acidity is perfectly balanced with ripe berry flavors, with tones of candied cherry, juicy black plum, cornelian cherry, and pomegranate.

Aging potential: at least 15 years.
